We are travelling Sept.22/11 9 nights. Even though 6 mths iahead hving difficulty in making dining reserv.for 7 pple at times that we want, ie. 7:30 p.m. Avail.showing only really early or late. Are we better to break up the party into 4 and 3?

    Hi Janice,

With the popularity of the Disney Dining Plan, guests are booking Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) as soon as the 180 day window opens.

However, you still have options even with seven people in your dining party. Try a wider range of times such as 7:00 to 8:00 pm or just dinner if booking on line. Also look at booking at 7:10 pm vs 7:30 as restaurants book in ten minute intervals.

Also, if you are booking a restaurant in a park, try to avoid Extra Magic Hours as more guests will visit the parks this day. Also, look at restaurants in the resorts near the park you are touring. Guests not staying at a particular resort may not take advantage of these restaurants which have great food and provide a break from the parks.

Finally, you may need to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE and speak with a cast member. They can help you make your dining reservations and help with alternatives.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
