We are travelling to Orlando in early November and would like to stay on property. What is the weather like and will I need to stay where there is a pool? My boys are 13 and 8. THanks.

    Hi Eric,

We have stayed off property for a few of our Disney World trips and honestly could not wait to get back to a Disney World resort for our next trip. There are so many added touches to the Disney resorts and the small details and attention to guest service just can not be matched in my opinion.

November is a beautiful month to visit and depending on what time of the month you arrive, you may be able to enjoy some of the amazing holiday decorations found all throughout Disney property. Breathtaking!

The weather in November is generally very pleasant, with day time highs right around 80 and lows in the high 50s. Typically there is little rain and a good deal of sunshine. Although we have had a few visits where we needed sweatshirts or light jackets, usually we are quite comfortable in shorts and t-shirts and we are almost always able to swim without turning blue.

All Disney resorts have swimming pools and many of them are quite amazing, (Our favorite is Stormalong Bay at the Yacht/Beach Club Resort). The pools are perfectly themed and are heated for the guest's enjoyment. The resort pool is a great place to take an afternoon break or wind down after a long day at the parks. I don't think you will be disappointed.
