Hi Amanda,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see that your magical vacation is just a couple of short weeks away, and I bet you're practically BURSTING with anticipation and excitement. I'm thrilled for you to experience the Walt Disney World Resort in all its
holiday splendor. You're going to have such a wonderful time!
While some Guests prefer to travel super light and some Guests bring anything they might possibly need with them into the parks, I tend to fall somewhere in the middle. I want to make sure that we're comfortable during the day, and I don't want to waste precious theme park time heading back to our car or Resort hotel for something we forgot. I'd be happy to share my "What We'll Need in the Parks" list with you! It includes water, snacks, and sweatshirts like you mentioned, as well as sunscreen, ponchos (if there's any chance of rain), our photo IDs, cell phones, cash and/or credit cards, lip balm, sunglasses, Ibuprofen, hand sanitizer, and finally, pennies and quarters for the
coin press machines. If you happen to be Disney Vacation Club members or Annual Passholders, don't forget those membership cards either, as they're fantastic for scoring dining and merchandise discounts! Of course, we also love to go all out and bring Mickey-ear hats or headbands, pin-trading lanyards, and our favorite
MagicBands, too!
If you'd like to keep your bags with you, I'm happy to let you know that you'll be able to bring them with you on the attractions, but if you'd prefer to
rent a locker, you'll find them located near the entrance of each of the theme parks.
Please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip, Amanda. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
