Ahoy, Lynette!
This January you'll be escaping frigid winter temperatures to enjoy an enchanted voyage out of
Miami aboard the beautiful Disney Magic! What an excellent plan! I always love sailing away from the Port of Miami because of the stunning skyline, the gorgeous views of South Beach, Miami beach and Biscayne Bay. It's just so pretty!
Lynette, you are smart to arrive a day early especially in January. You'll appreciate having extra time to ease into vacation mode before you hop onboard the Disney Magic the following day. Disney Cruise Line has partnered with three hotels in the Miami area to offer comfortable accommodations and the option to purchase
ground transportation that includes airport to hotel, hotel to port and then back to the airport after disembarkation. At this time, the hotel options include The Conrad Miami, Marriott Stanton South Beach and the Four Seasons Miami. My family took advantage of this a few years ago, and it was smooth sailing from the time we landed at the Miami International Airport to when we arrived back for our flight home. A representative was waiting for us at baggage claim and delivered us to the hotel. When we checked-in, we were given specific directions for the following morning. On our departure day, we boarded a motor coach and were entertained with the Disney Cruise Line video on the short ride to the port. As the planner in my family, I enjoyed not having to worry about our transportation both pre-and post cruise! Once we debarked the ship, we were whisked away and dropped back off at the airport. Easy peasy!
Please call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to inquire about adding a pre-cruise stay in Miami and ground transfers. An agent will be happy to provide you with the current pricing for both.
