I will be travelling in March with my 8 year old twins. We only have the 4 day park hopper. This is our first visit. I am trying to decide if the water park option is worth it or should we just pay separately to get in if we have the time to go once?

Hello fellow mom of eight year old twins!

My girls LOVE the water parks, Blizzard Beach in particular. But we never even went to a water park until my oldest's 7th or 8th trip to WDW. We were always so busy exploring the theme parks that we just never felt like we had time to branch out.

My feeling is that for a first visit that's a four day trip, you'll be fine with just the park hopper. There is so very much to do in the four theme parks that you likely won't be able to get to the water parks. And, as you suggested, you could always add the water parks option to your ticket later or buy the tickets separately if you ended up wanting to try the water.

Hope you have a great trip.
