We are travelling in June with a 9 month old baby. Will I be able to store a car seat in the larger lockers.

    Hiya Momma!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are going to LOVE visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your babe! It is magical all of the time, but there is a sprinkling of extra pixie dust when you experience it through the eyes of a little one.

So, there are a variety of lockers available to rent, depending on where you are planning to use them. Currently, you can rent small and large lockers at all four Theme Parks and the two Water Parks. Some of the Resort hotels have small lockers onsite, usually next to the pool. Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT give you the additional option of jumbo-sized lockers. Here are the dimensions for the lockers:

    Small - 12” x 10” x 17”
    Large - 15.5” x 13” x 17”
    Jumbo - 17” x 22” x 26”

For reference, the typical maximum allowance for a carry-on piece of luggage at the airport is 22” x 9” x 14”. If your car seat can easily fit within that range, you should be ok to store it in a jumbo-sized locker.

Helen, if you are concerned about your baby traveling in a vehicle without a car seat, rest assured, you can bring the baby seat on the complimentary monorail, boat, or bus transportation. Also, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Minnie Vans (via the Lyft app, the official rideshare of the Resorts) are equipped with car seats, so you don’t have to worry about carting and storing yours.

    ChEARs to a magical vacation!
