I am travelling w/ 2 girls-are any Princess inspired rooms? Also, how easy is it to travel from the WLodge to the other resorts for dining? I am trying to decide between the WL & the POFQ-any tips? Which resorts are being refurbished? Thanks, Dana

    Hi Dana!

Personally, I love both the Wilderness Lodge and Port Orleans French Quarter resorts! They are my top two picks in the Deluxe and Moderate resort categories! You really can't go wrong with either choice, but if I had to choose, and it was in my budget, I'd go for the Wilderness Lodge!

Travel between resorts usually involves transferring to another bus or method of transportation at a theme park or Downtown Disney. Since the Wilderness Lodge is located in close proximity to the Magic Kingdom, I think this would be the easiest resort to travel from (between the two you've listed).

From the Wilderness Lodge, you can take a boat from the Lodge to the Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a boat or Monorail to reach the other Magic Kingdom area resorts. Or, if you need to reach a different resort, you can use the bus transportation located just outside the park's entrance.

While I haven't stayed at every Disney resort yet (almost there!), I don't feel any room themes are truly "Princess-inspired". The Caribbean Beach resort does have Pirate inspired rooms that are quite popular, so maybe we'll see some Princess rooms in the future! Lets hope so!

    Have fun on your trip!
