We are travelling the first week of May, familiy of 3. I have made all of our ADR's. My question is with reservations...how long will we wait for our table? If we get to our reservations 15 minutes early will we be sat "on time"? Thanks for a

    Hi Chenoa,

Great job on getting those important advance dining reservations. The restaraunts ask that you arrive ten to fifteen minutes prior to your reservation and as they say, " they will seat you at the next available table for your party size". They actually do a very good job with spacing the reservations in a way that the waits are usually minmal. We have made hundreds of dinner reservations at Disney World and find that the majority of times we are seated very close to our reservation time.

In our experience we are typically seated if not by our reservation time, within 5 to 10 minutes of that time. I can only recall two occasions in all of our trips, where we waited longer than 20 minutes past our reservation, one time was Thanksgiving and the other was Labor Day breakfast. I have noticed that we wait a few minutes extra at the character meals but I would think this is due to the guests wanting to take a few extra minutes for the perfect picture or another autograph with the Disney pals.

Of course there is always a chance of an unexpected delay like arriving late, changing party sizes, and special requests, that can throw this system off but I think you will find Disney does a great job keeping these reservations on schedule.

Hope you all have an amazing time!
