Hi, We are travelling to Disneyland and looking to stay at the Grand Californian. I am trying to confirm whether an infant under 12 months old counts toward the room maximum of 5? We have 3 Adults, a 2 year old and a 7 year old. Thanks.

    Hi Emma!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you to experience all the magic and convenience of staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!

The maximum capacity you'll see listed on a room accounts for sleeping areas. So if you see a maximum room capacity of five, this means you'll have sleeping areas for five, plus you can add one Guest under the age of 3 in a Pack 'n' Play. You can only have one child accounted for in a Pack 'n' Play though, so you must include your 2 year old in the room count and the 12 month old as your plus one. I would recommend calling ahead and adding the Pack 'N' Play request to your reservation. While this doesn't guarantee one and is only a request, I have never heard of any one not having one provided upon arrival.

Please let me know if you have any other questions before your trip!
