We'll be travelling to Disney for my 6yr old daughter's birthday. We have to choose btwn Prime Time and Sci-Fi for dinner in MGM. I love PT but have never been to Sci-FI. Any thoughts? we're doing Fantasmic that night w/ tix from lunch

Given the same choice, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the Sci-Fi Dine In. The atmosphere is just so fun, I find it to be one of the most unique dining options Disney offers. But I am a fan of most things kitschy, so the hokey 'horror' movies are right up my alley.

I have three young daughters myself (4, 6, 8) and they've never been frightened by any of the movie clips playing, so if that's a concern, it needn't be. Most of the movies are so silly they are good for nothing more than a laugh, and my daughter pay far more attention to the cool car tables and the starry sky than anything else.

Big thumbs up for their milkshakes, also! They make the perfect treat on a hot Disney afternoon. :)
