We are travelling to Disney World next week and staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge in a Savannah View Room. Is there a way to put in a request to stay closest to where the giraffes are?

Hello there, Stacy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a WILD time for each and every Guest that stays within this magnificent resort! Guests staying here will have the opportunity to get up close and view exotic animals right this resort and, in certain cases, their room! In addition, you and your family will also have access to multiple luxurious pools, view a giant collection of African art, and learn all about the culture that influences Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you have a particular room number or area in mind, you can always contact the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line! By calling this number, you can have your request added to your previous reservation. In addition, I always contact my Disney Resort hotel directly approximately one week prior to my stay to verify that my room request is on file. Of course, room requests are never guaranteed but Cast Members do try their absolute best to fulfill any requests that you may make!

Have fun continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can help you with planning any other part of your vacation!
