Hi There, we are travelling to Disney World in April 2023. Should we be booking our resort now or wait to see if a better price shows up. I don't want to miss out on the resort of our choice which right now is the All Stars Movies.

    Gayle,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

My family and I are going to Walt Disney World in April 2023 as well! Maybe we will bump into each other!

My advice is that you should book your resort hotel room now. The Disney resort hotels can book up much sooner than you might expect, and it would be a shame to be blocked out of your resort of choice. You might even want to just book the room for now, and you can add tickets and other package elements later, as the trip gets closer. If new package offers come along you should be able to apply most to that reservation, or reset to a new reservation, though that is not guaranteed. Because you are going at Spring Break, you may not find any new programs better than what you have available to you today. You can find Special Offers listed on the website, but I also recommend regularly checking the Disney Parks Blog, as they will often be the first place that announces any special programs.

So Disney's All-Star Movies Resort? What section do you hope to stay in? All the choices are great, though for me it is either Toy Story area, or the Mighty Ducks area. I proudly wore my Charlie Conway #96 green Mighty Ducks jersey to this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions. Also, be sure to watch the video linked to this answer. It has some great Spring Break tips and ideas, and you might see a certain planDisney panelist on the show!
