Travelling to Disney for the 1st time on 11-25 to 11-30. My daughter will turn 2 on 11-26. We have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on 11-25 and breakfast at Chef Mickey's on 11-28. What else should we experience to make her bday magical?

Just being in Disney is pretty magical to me! I think your daughter will be delighted. Two is a great age to visit Disney; the magic is very real to them, and the look on her face when she meets her favorite characters will be priceless.

Be sure to mention your daughter's birthday whenever you check in at the podium at Chef Mickey's. It is my own children's favorite place to celebrate a special occasion, and I think your daughter will enjoy the special attention she will receive for the occasion.

When you check in to your resort, ask the cast member for a birthday button. Your daughter can wear this pin on her birthday, and many cast members will wish her a Happy Birthday when they see it. It's also a fun (and free!) souvenir.

Something else I might consider is a visit to the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. They do haircuts, if you'd like, or she could get a fancy updo with sparkles and glitter. It's little girl fabulous, and very popular. And priced right, at around $10, too! This would be a fun way to make her feel special on her big day.

    Have a great trip!
