    We will be travelling to Disney 11/13/11 thru 11/19/11. It is our son's first trip and I am curious if the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be occuring during our stay. If so, what time does it usually start? Any dinner recommendations for it?

    Hi Francine,

    I love the Walt Disney World Resort at the holidays. It is so special and even more magical!

    As for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the dates will not be released until the summer. However, there are usually a few parties prior to Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the first day that all of the decorations are out at all the parks and resorts. Magic Kingdom is the last to receive the makeover. 

    If the party is happening, it starts at 7:00 pm. I recommend eating before at the Crystal Palace which is in Magic Kingdom or at a restaurant at a resort on the monorail like 1900 Park Fare or 'Ohana. You will want your reservation to be around 5:00 pm so you do not miss out on any of the fun at the party.
