Hi Shelley! Disney World is a wonderful place for large groups to vacation! I visited Disney with eight members of my family last year, and I loved how the restaurants were able to easily accommodate our big group.

At the sit-down restaurants, an 18% gratuity is automatically added for parties of 6 or more. This policy is in effect at the table-service restaurants as well as the buffets. Even though you'll select your own food from a buffet at some restaurants, you'll still have a server who will bring your drinks, clear your dirty plates, make sure Mickey and friends stop by your table at character meals, and handle any special requests you may have.
