We're travelling to Disney June 2-10 and though I know its bound to be crowded no matter what can you offer suggestions on avoiding some of the crowds? We will have our 9 year old and 2 year old and really want to make the most of 2 days at each park!

    Hi Amanda,

My first recommendation is to make reservations for as many parts of your trip as possible: meals, tours, princess makeovers, etc. The more things you have reserved, the less time you'll spend waiting around.

If you really want to use your time efficiently, I would invest in a subscription to the Lines app at TouringPlans.com. There is a small fee for this service (around $10). The folks at TouringPlans are statisticians and researchers who have created algorithms which track the most efficient order in which to do the rides based on their popularity and wait time fluctuations throughout the day. Full disclosure - several of the Moms Panelists have done testing of their plans. I've personally found that they can save two hours or more of wait time during a typical day, allowing you to experience much more of the rides and entertainment.

You should also have each person in your group choose their top five things to do (rides, restaurants, etc.). Make those your absolute priority and consider everything else to be gravy.

Please let us know if you have more specific questions. We're happy to help with whatever you need.
