Hi there we are travelling to Disney in July. We are a party of six, three young adults with autism and learning disabilities, two of which use wheelchairs. We are looking to apply for DAS passes but I can’t find out how to do it in advance can you help pl

Hey there, Gail! I'm happy to welcome you to the most magical panel on Earth – planDisney!

Oh boy! It sounds like you're about to embark on a sunshine-filled summer at Walt Disney World Resort! Get ready for magical moments, unforgettable memories, and a sprinkle of pixie dust at every turn. From exciting attractions and entertainment to sweet treats and character hugs, your trip is sure to be filled with joy from start to finish!

To apply for Disability Access Service (DAS), you'll need to wait until you're physically in the United States. Once you're here, you can start the process by connecting virtually with a Cast Member either through the Walt Disney World Website or the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's important to note that the Guest requesting DAS must be present during the live video chat. During the conversation, the Cast Member will learn more about the Guest's individual needs and help set up the most appropriate accommodations to ensure an enjoyable visit.

I understand this isn't the news you were hoping for, especially since you were hoping to register before arriving in the United States. However, I can assure you that once you're here, the process is smooth and straightforward, making it easy to get everything set up for your visit.

Gail, before I let you go, I wanted to share some exciting news about two brand-new entertainment offerings that just debuted today at Hollywood Studios. First up is Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After – a thrilling new production that puts a delightfully wicked spin on some of our favorite villains, showcasing them in a whole new light. And for fans of under-the-sea adventures, The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure has also made its debut, bringing Ariel's story to life with music, magic, and unforgettable moments. I hope you'll have an opportunity to check these out!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Gail! Wishing you the most MAGICAL vacation!!

    See ya real soon,

    Kami
