I will be travelling to a Disney hotel from a good neighbor hotel. What is the recommended way of doing this? Rideshare like uber or lyft?

Hi there, Eric! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and asking your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

The Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels are an excellent way to maximize your budget while staying close to the magic! There are literally dozens of hotels that are included in this category and come with a variety of perks. Guests can look forward to finding accommodations that perfectly fit their family size, have a Guest Service desk devoted to planning Walt Disney World Resort vacations, offer transportation to the theme parks, and many have pet-friendly rooms if you are traveling with your furry family members.

There are actually a few different ways you can get from your Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel to a Disney Resort hotel! One way would be to use a ride share service, such as Uber or Lyft, to receive a direct ride to your destination. If you are interested in saving a bit of money, you could also get a ride to one of the theme parks and then use Disney Transportation to get to your chosen Disney Resort hotel. Additionally, many of the Walt Disney World Resort Good Neighbor Hotels are located within walking distance to Disney Springs. This would give you the opportunity to walk over to Disney Springs and then use Bus Transportation to get to a Disney Resort hotel.

Regardless of how you get there, visiting a Disney Resort hotel is a great way to spend time outside of the theme parks! Not only do they offer great shopping opportunities but they also provide the same intricate level of details found inside the theme parks. It’s so much fun to wander around and take in the gorgeous themes found at the resort! Also, there are many different dining locations that are often overlooked since they are outside of the theme parks. At times, they can be less crowded and are just as delicious as their more popular counterparts!

I hope you have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World Resort during your upcoming vacation! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
