We will be travelling to Disney in Feb 09 with 4 adults and one child age 4 (turning 5 during our visit). My question is, what accomodations will fit our group? I was thinking adjoining rooms at a value resort but would it be better to go Moderate?

You have a few options for a party of 5:

    - As you suggested, you could get two connecting rooms at any of the resorts.

    - At the value resorts you could try the new Family Suites at the All Star Music Resort. These simple suites sleep six people and include a small kitchenette.

    - The only moderate resort where you could fit five people in one room is at the Port Orleans French Quarter. There are some rooms there that have a pull-out trundle bed that is suitable for a child to sleep on.

    - The deluxe resorts all have rooms that will sleep five people on two queen-sized beds plus a daybed.

    - The Villa resorts have one-bedroom villas that sleep up to six people and two-bedroom villas that sleep up to eight people. These accommodations include bedrooms separate from the living areas, as well as full kitchens.

Any one of these would work for your group. You should call Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY to discuss pricing and availability. My personal preference would be the Family Suites, two connecting rooms, or a villa. I feel like with four adults in your group, there are bound to be times when someone will want a bit of personal space. The accommodations I just listed would be the ones that would get you two rooms and more opportunities for privacy.
