    . Because we are travelling from Australia and touring the USA for 9 weeks, formal clothing is not an option due to restrictions in luggage space. What alternative's are there to dining on formal night ? Will we still get a meal elsewhere on the boat ?

    Hi Janet!

    It sounds like you have a fabulous vacation planned, and I'm thrilled it includes a voyage on Disney Cruise Line.  I understand you will be limited on what you can bring, but I think you will still be able to enjoy the main dining room on formal night even without your fanciest attire.  There is a casual dining restaurant that offers dinner as well as several counter service options and room service, but as long as you are not in bathing suit attire, shorts or tank tops, the main dining room will not turn you away.  My suggestion is to visit the dining room you have scheduled for formal night sometime before dinner and check out the menu.  If the cuisine looks appetizing to you, don't make alternative plans.
