We are travelling from Australia next year for my dad’s 70th. As we will have 12 days in the Parks I thought of getting an AP for myself (10 day tickets for folks)so we can take advantage of discounts. Can I buy AP now but not activate until Sept? Thanks

Hi Tamara! You're right that a Disney Annual Pass does entitle you to some great discounts. I love that my Annual Pass makes me eligible to receive special discounted room rates and to buy the Tables in Wonderland card for discounts on my dining at Disney.

You can purchase an Annual Pass in advance online by clicking here or by calling 407-WDISNEY. When you purchase the pass in advance you receive a voucher that you must then exchange at Guest Services for an activated Annual Pass. (By the way, if you're planning to purchase an Annual Pass, you can still reserve rooms with the Annual Pass discount even if you don't have the Pass yet, and then just purchase it when you arrive.)
