We are travelling from Australia in mid January to visit. Can you recommend suitable clothing, how warm does the humidity make it? Thank you

    G'day Roslyn,

Your trip is almost here and your excitement must be building! January is an excellent time of year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.  Crowds are normally lower than other times of the year but the weather can be a bit unpredictable.  Average high daytime temperatures are around 71 degrees Farenheit, or 21 degrees Celsius. The average low is about 47 degrees Farenheit or 9 degrees Celsius

For Florida locals, these temperatures may be a bit cool and some folks will bundle up.  For the tourists, however, it will seem warm, and shorts would definitely be appropriate.

I would recommend packing a jacket for those cooler mornings and evenings, and dressing in layers that could be removed throughout the day, as the weather warms.  It's a good idea to check the forecast before you leave home so that you'll know exactly what you may need to bring in your suitcase.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
