Hello, I am travelling Aug 13 - 22, does anyone have a sense of what lines will be like in MK (I have two girls, 7 & 5) Also, will I be able to bring light snacks into the park (water, baby carrotts)? Thank you!!!

    Hi Joyce!

Mid to late August is typically a great time to visit crowd-wise. Many schools across the Southeastern U.S. are heading back to school, so crowds do begin to lower from their summer peak. As always, if you can be an early riser and head the the parks at opening time, you should have great luck touring. Early mornings typically see the lowest crowds (and cooler weather!).

You are welcome to bring snacks and water into the parks! Don't worry about it at all! I usually plan to take a few extra bottles of water in a backpack or shoulder bag to be sure that we have enough to keep hydrated. The Florida sun can be hot, so you want to be sure that drinking water is a priority!

Hope you have a wonderful vacation!
