    Travelling alone with 9 year old son. First trip to WDW. We will be staying from July 31-Aug 6th for AAU tournament hosted at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex. Need some help in finding lodging for a good price that is near the Sports Complex.

    Hi Stephanie! How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation. I would definitely recommend a value resort for you and your son. In addition to being incredible value cost-wise, they also offer bus transportation to Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. If your son is a big sports fan, he would love Disney's All Star Sports Resort. When choosing your resort, it's important to note that only the All Stars, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach Resort offer direct transportation to the Wide World of Sports.
