Hi. We travelled from Australia Sept/Oct 2012 and the crowds were great. We had such an amazing time that we are planning our next trip. The kids will be 7,9,11,13,16 and we are looking at 12th April - 8th May. Is that a good time to travel?

Welcome to the DIsney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda! How exciting you are planning another Walt Disney World vacation!  The crowd levels are traditionally lower during the months of September and October. I like to visit the independent website allears.net to view their Historic Attendance Levels Chart when planning our Walt Disney World vacations. Although it can be quite difficult to predict crowd levels with 100 percent accuracy, I have found the Historic Attendance Levels Chart to be quite reliable. Mid March through late April is categorized as "highest attendance" due to Spring Break. Late April through early June, with the exception of Memorial Day Weekend, is considered "moderate attendance."  As a Georgia resident myself, I actually prefer the weather in April and May to that of September, when the humidity can be very high. The average high temperature in April is typically in the low 80s with the average low temperature in the upper 50s; whereas, the average high temperature in May is typically in the upper 80s with the average low temperature in the mid 60s. If your dates are flexible, I would suggest moving your vacation back by one week in order to avoid the Spring Break crowds. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any further questions as your planning progresses. Best wishes for a magical trip, Amanda!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
