We’ll travell to surprise our 6-yeas old daughter on her birthday in October, she wants to meet Anna and Elsa. So we wonder if they’re in the Cinderella restaurant greeting guests. What would be your best suggestion to meet them in a quiet setting? Thaks!

    Welcome Yenny!

A surprise sixth birthday at Walt Disney World Resort? This is going to be a birthday feeling that she will never forget. I'm so excited for you just thinking about it!

    Ok, let's talk Princesses.

Currently, the best way to meet our favorite royal sisters is to greet them in their summer cabin. You can meet Ana and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus in the Norway pavilion in the World Showcase most hours that EPCOT is open. Be sure to check your My Disney Experience Mobile App because character experiences do change sometimes, and I certainly don't want any disappointment on a birthday.

After your one-on-one, head over to Frozen Ever After, an all-ages attraction, for a "Summer Snow Day Celebration." This is your chance to "Let it go" and sing along as you cruise through a frozen willow forest. (You know I had to. Nobody can resist.)

If you still have a song in your heart, then make sure to visit For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Our daughters are now teens, but this was the highlight of every Walt Disney World Resort vacation in the days of the first Frozen movie. It will always hold special memories of watching them sing their hearts out with their favorite celebrities in the days before they were on stage themselves. Be sure to drink it all in.

Also, Yenny, don't forget to ask a Cast Member at your Resort hotel or at any shop for a Celebration button that your daughter can wear to proudly announce her special day. She will love how many birthday wishes she receives from Cast Members and guests alike. The people, after all, make the magic of this incredible place.

Finally, just because you are on vacation doesn't mean that it needs to be complicated to find the perfect birthday cake. Most table-service restaurants offer the opportunity to pre-order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake in dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate! You can order through the My Disney Experience Mobile App when you book an Advance Dining Reservation, in person at the host podium 4-days in advance, or even when you check-in for your meal, though those options are limited.  These cakes are adorable, delicious, and feel so special when they arrive at the table. I recommend them highly.

I'm so thrilled for your family, Yenny. Don't forget your portable phone charger, because you are going to take alllll the pictures on this vacation. It's going to be incredible.

If you have any other questions as the big day gets closer, please come on back to planDisney and let your Disney pals get you settled. You can even ask me directly! We are always here for you.

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
