I will be traveling with a 2yr old in June, I am looking for some tips?

Hi, Kerri!  The best advice I can give you with regard to traveling with a two year old is to make sure your two year old's needs are met, and the rest of the family will have a much more pleasant vacation.  If you have a two year old that needs to be in a comfortable bed to nap, you need to leave the park and head for a nap.  I always scheduled our meals as close to normal for our little ones as well, so that they weren't too far off of their schedule from home.

Other things to keep in mind are the lines.  I keep in my backpack things like small books, kids' meal toys, and snacks, so while we are waiting in line for an attraction or to see a parade, I have things to do to keep the little ones occupied.  Keep them well hydrated also.  It can get heavy to carry around too many juice boxes and things, but if your two year old won't drink plain water, you can get a bottle of water and carry around those single drink mixes that you shake into your water.

I also like to schedule my day so that we do the things like ride on attractions early in the day, and then towards the later part of the day, when sleepiness sets in, we do shows.  I've been lucky to have nap time hit in the middle of a show, and then I just pop the tired baby into the stroller, where she's comfortable napping while my older children do some other things they are interested in.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
