We are traveling with a 5- and a 1-yr old and interested in the VIP tour, except for the 6-hour minimum. We will all be jet-lagged and the 1-year old still naps mid-day, so we need to go back to our hotel after lunch. Any alternatives? Thanks!

    Hi Marie Pauline,

While I love the idea of the VIP Tour, I think at your children's age you would be better to skip this until they are older so they can truly experience all the magic that this tour brings to a family.

If you would like a tour, Disney's Family Magic Tour is a great one to start with and it should be fun for your five year old. In addition, it only last 1.5 hours to 2 hours so it is perfect for your little one.

Since you want to be close to your resort for easy trips back to the room for naps, look at the monorail resorts or the Boardwalk area resorts. These resorts while more expensive save you time as you head back for a nap or swimming.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
