Hi, I will be traveling with my younger brother (14) in the pas the authorization form for minors with out parents needed to be notarized, this new form no longer has a part for the notary. Would i still need to notarize the form?

    Welcome aboard, Julissa!

I’m so excited for you to experience everything a Disney Cruise has to offer with your brother! From incredible dining rooms and outstanding entertainment to beautiful ports of call, there’s magic for Guests of all ages on board. I remember taking my younger sister on her first Disney Cruise—it was unforgettable. You’re going to have such a wonderful time together!

The Disney Cruise Line Authorization for Minor to Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian form no longer requires notarization. Have your parents sign the form and make sure you bring it with you to the port. You will present this form along with everyone’s travel documentation to complete check-in at the terminal.

Fourteen is a great age on a Disney Cruise because there are two youth clubs to choose from! Edge is the tween club for ages 11 to 14, and Vibe is the teen hangout for Guests 14 to 17. I recommend checking out both clubs on embarkation day to see which one is the best fit. Each club hosts icebreaker activities on the first night to help everyone get to know each other.

To make the most of your time together, download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you leave home. The app has a list of all the daily activities and a handy chat feature so you can keep in touch and coordinate meetups between activities. I wish you both an unforgettable adventure on the high seas!

    Bon Voyage!
