Ahoy, Anita!
Thank you for cruising by to "sea" us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm sure your crew is looking forward to your magical voyage with Captain Mickey and his gang!
I don't think you will have a problem enjoying the
Quiet Cove Pool area and any of the
adult-only areas on the ship especially since you'll all be together. In fact, there is a way for crew members to tell if someone is an adult because there will be an "A" on the front of the Guest's "Key to the World" card (those under 18 have a "M" on their cards). Many Guests like to wear their "Key to the World" card around their necks in a lanyard that has a clear pouch. While this is optional, your daughter might like to wear hers while aboard and the crew members will easily be able to recognize that she's an adult. If you are a
Castaway Club member (membership is automatic after your first cruise), you'll receive lanyards upon check-in as part of your "Welcome Back" gift. If this is your first cruise, you can bring your own lanyard or purchase a Disney Cruise Line themed lanyard once aboard (the shops open around 5:00 p.m. on embarkation day). Typically, the same crew members work in the same areas so it's likely that they will quickly get to know the three of you!
Anita, I'm so glad you stopped by! Please visit us again with any additional questions you may have about your vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
