    If we are traveling with an 8 year old & 2 year old. When you get on a ride the younger one can't get on do they still do companion passes for the second parent to ride with that first child or does the parent ride by themselves?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hear that you'll soon be visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with your Mouseketeers. You all are going to have a BLAST together and make memories that you'll cherish forever!

    I'm happy to let you know that the Rider Switch service will be perfect for those attractions that your youngest one isn't quite ready for, and it will even allow you to take turns experiencing attractions without needing to wait in line twice! Before you hop in line, you'll want to check with a Cast Member at the attraction entrance about using Rider Switch and they'll be happy to set it up for you. It's all managed digitally now, so it's easy peasy, plus I think you'll be pleased to hear that your eight-year-old will be able to ride again with the adult who sat out the first time since Rider Switch can be set up for the waiting adult and up to two Guests. Rider Switch really is a great benefit to families with little ones! When my Mouseketeers were little, we'd spend our mornings enjoying some of the numerous attractions that our entire family could experience together, then we'd take advantage of the Rider Switch service in the afternoon while our youngest kiddos napped in their strollers.
