I am traveling with my 11 year old niece in August on the Dream. We are getting a standard inside cabin. Does the queen size bed split into twins or all of the queen beds on the newer ships one piece?

Welcome back, Cheryl! I can tell that you and your niece are very excited to set sail on the Disney Dream in just a couple more weeks! Besides details of the ship itself, hopefully you've checked out all of the exciting Port Adventures that are offered, because Disney magic doesn't just happen on the ship! Disney has fabulous Port Adventures available for their guests in each and every port of call!

Your stateroom will be home base for you and your niece as you sail on the Dream to Nassau and Castaway Cay. While the queen bed in your stateroom does not split, the couch transitions into a single bed, so your niece will have her own very comfortable spot to sleep during the sailing. Your stateroom host will set up that bed each evening, and then transition it back into a couch each day, so you can leave the work to him or her, while you and your niece head off to explore the ship and your two ports of call in the Bahamas!

I hope those details help as you continue planning, Cheryl! Happy sailing!
