We are going to be traveling with a 4 year old and a 14 month old. We are planning on using shuttles to get from here to there and are not renting a car. Is it required or recommended that we bring their carseats?

    Hi Carrie,

What a fantastic time your children will have! We typically had our carseats with us upon our arrival to Orlando as we had used them on the airplanes. Once we arrived at the airport, we transported the seats to our resort with our luggage and stored them in our rooms during our stay. If you are using a taxi or car service during your trip, you would be able to use the carseats, however the seats can not be used on the shuttles and Disney buses as there are no seatbelts to buckle the seats in. When my boys were toddlers, they often rode on my lap while on the buses and were happy to have a little freedom from the carseats. If you do not plan on using the carseats on the plane or with a car service, you can actually leave them at home for the trip.

Hope you have a magical time!
