In traveling with my 3 year old (and flying across country), would you suggest bringing our own stroller or renting one?

    Stacey,

I definitely recommend using a stroller with a 3-year old. If you bring your own, remember that you are probably, dependent upon what airline you fly, going to pay for the checked bag charge. The alternative of renting from Disney adds convenience, but can be quite pricey, running almost $20 per day.

One other choice that might save you some money is to order a cheap stroller online to be delivered to your resort. Use it that week, and then just leave it when you are heading home. Especially if you find an online store that doesn't charge shipping, you could really save a lot and get a stroller for the week at the same time.

Whatever you do, have your child help you create some decorative signage that you can hang from the stroller handles. It can be a fun project to get them excited for the trip, and having something bold and different hanging from the handle can both help you find your stroller in the stroller parking areas as you leave an attraction, and also help others from not accidentally mistaking yours as theirs!

Feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
