    Hello! I will be traveling with a 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl in April 2011. The trip is to celebrate my son's b-day. We want to make it a week long event. We are staying at Bonnett Creek. What suggestions do you have?

    Samantha,

    Boy, that question opens up a WHOLE can of worms! So many great things to do, but hard to know just where to start!

    So here are a few pointers that might help you get started;

    • Remember that, above all else, simply being at Walt Disney World is a week-long celebration to begin with. Don't feel that you have to jump through amazing hoops on top of that to make it 'special'. It is already pretty darn special!
    • Instead of trying to do dozens of things, pick one thing per day.
    • Consider what you are going to do for your 4-year old too. She may wonder why she is not getting similar treatment on her birthday.
    Now I can recommend a special meal (Whispering Canyon Cafe), standard park activity (Jedi Training Academy), extra-cost park activity (Pirate's League), or something even more extreme. But if you tell me more about what he likes in a follow-up question, I can get more specific!

    Have a magical vacation!
