We are traveling on the Wonder in sept '14, and unfortuantly we werent able to book our airfare through disney so i am struggling to find a hotel that provides shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise port. Do you have any suggestions?

Welcome aboard, Laura! Guests don't have to book their airfare through Disney Cruise Line to take advantage of Disney's partner resorts and hotels, which offer transportation to the cruise port.

I'd love to suggest a few for you, however, you didn't mention which sailing you'll be on. The Wonder is sailing out of Vancouver, San Diego, and then Port Canaveral in September of this year, so there are quite a few different options.

If you're sailing from Port Canaveral, a stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts the night before is always a lot of fun! You can spend a day enjoying the resort or even the parks, before you head to the port the following day. Disney Cruise Line offers ground transportation between the resorts at Walt Disney World and Port Canaveral, as well as between the Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral. The Hyatt at the airport partners with Disney, so you can even stay overnight there then catch the motorcoaches the following morning right from the airport. There is a cost of $35 per person each way for these transfers, but I promise that this is the way to go in Orlando! Disney takes care of all of the details, making your transition from land to sea and back again very easy! The agents with Disney Cruise Line can make these ground transfer reservations for you.

However, if you're sailing out of Vancouver or San Diego, give the agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at 800-951-3532. They can recommend their partner hotels in the area which may offer complimentary transportation to the cruise port in the morning. We've used their partner hotels in other ports, like Galveston, Texas, and have found it very convenient!

    Have fun planning, Laura!
