I am traveling wih my 18month old daughter who is very active, I want her to ride in the stroller but unsure which to bring unbrella or regular riding and i know she will want to run so thought about a safty harness but unsure, please advise! ty!

Hi Cassandra! Traveling to Walt Disney World with a toddler can be both excited and cumbersome. Strollers, bags, snacks, etc., definitely can make getting the parks an experience! The recommendation of most Moms here is to use an umbrella stroller. Being that you will have to fold it when getting on buses, boats and some attractions, an umbrella stroller is much more convenient than the standard stroller. You have the option of rental a stroller at WDW, however they are made of hard plastic and aren't the most comfortable strollers. As for the harness to allow her to walk, I'd say absolutely!! We've seen many kids exploring the WDW parks while tethered to their parents. They definitely develop a tiny sense of freedom, while staying within Moms careful eye. Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
