TRON Lightcycle / Run is a thrilling ride and one of my favorite additions to
Magic Kingdom Park. I'm sure you and your family will love it.
How adventurous is your son? My nine-year-old still isn't ready to go off the Grid, so we often use
Rider Switch when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I purchased it for my 12-year-old, my husband, and myself, and I'm happy to share that my 12-year-old gets to ride twice since you can bring a buddy, so you're never riding alone! That's one of his favorite parts of our trips. We always use this option when riding TRON and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Your seven-year-old will be able to enjoy it with both of you as well. Make sure to set it up with the friendly Cast Members located in front of the attractions before any of you scan for your
Lightning Lanes.
I always encourage Guests to ride TRON after sunset; it's truly a one-of-a-kind experience! Don't forget to request the front row, and of course, keep your hands up the whole time for extra fun.
While my youngest and I are waiting, there are plenty of comfortable benches conveniently located near the restrooms. I like to grab a snack before heading to TRON to keep my youngest occupied. It's the perfect spot to relax and watch your loved ones enjoy this popular attraction.
