I am traveling to WDW 12-6 to 12-14with my 2 year old grandson. He has a lung condition from a premature birth and catches cold easily. My question is does WDW have an in house Doctor or clinic so if he gets sick and we get him medicine inside the park?

There are first aid stations in all the Disney theme parks. They can help you take care of common theme park ailments (blisters, sunburn, minor dehydration, etc.) and they can direct you to other sources of care, but they will not prescribe medication, nor is there a pharmacy actually within the theme park.

There are, however, other sources of nearby medical care. With so many children (and adults) at WDW every day, some of them are bound to get sick. On our very first trip to WDW with our oldest daughter, she started running a fever and complaining of ear pain. Uh oh. Based on the advice of our the advice of the front desk of our hotel (Port Orleans Riverside) we took a quick cab ride to the nearby CentraCare walk-in medical clinic (ten minutes away). They diagnosed her ear infection, made sure we had Tylenol to keep her comfortable, and helped up fill a prescription for antibiotics at a pharmacy next door. Because of the quick service, we were back in the parks the next day. The number at CentraCare is 407-934-CARE, if you'd like to call them directly to ask about their services.

If you can't (or don't want to) make it to CentraCare, there is also a network of on call doctors that Disney contracts with that will actually make house calls to your hotel room (but not to the theme parks). A good friend of mine used this service at the Grand Floridian when her son was experiencing digestive issues. She was very happy with the doctor who came to the rescue. Just call the front desk of your hotel to arrange this service.

I hope you have a happy and HEALTHY trip to Disney World.
