Marah,
I have 6 and 4 year old girls that are not particularly big eaters. For us (and you sound somewhat similar), yes, that would be too much food. Why?
First, with concierge level access, the lounge essentially serves as the breakfast restaurant for every day. That means that we now have 3 dining table service credits, but only 2 meals left in the day. Now of course some of these dining options that you reference, like signature dining, required 2 credits. But there are two things you should consider;
- Have you figured out if you are doing enough of these 2-credit meals to use up all your dining credits?
- Can your kids fully use three sit-down meals a day?
Obviously I don't know your family personally, but here is how I would think it through;
- My girls just don't eat three sit down meals a day, from a total amount of food perspective. To make that worse, they would go INSANE if they had to sit down at a table for around 5-6 hours a day while fun theme parks sat by so tantalizingly close!
- BUT if you have kids with appetites to match that much food, then plan out your meals to be sure that you are going to use ALL your credits. Otherwise you are just throwing money away!
With so many great 2-credit meals out there, you certainly could pull it off. I am glad to recommend some if you would like? Just write me back and I will share with you some of my favorites!
Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
