Traveling to WDW with two friends on July 28; two of us have Annual Passes, one does not. All three of us are on the same DVC resort reservation and linked on My Disney Experience. How will we make a park reservation for the one without a ticket? Thanks

    Hi Vanessa!

It's good to see you back! Thanks for bringing such an "of the moment" question to us. Hopefully, I can point you in the direction of a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow.

I'm so glad that you and your friends are all linked together on My Disney Experience, as that's the first step in the new reservation process (make sure that your ticket and hotel stay are also linked to your profiles). From there, starting on June 22nd, you can log on to My Disney Experience to make a reservation for one Park per day, which is subject to availability. You can actually log on right now and take a peek at the new system! In your web browser, hover over My Disney Experience to find "Disney Park Pass System." Once the system is active on June 22nd, you will be able to make your reservations since you are Guests with existing Hotel Reservations.

Unfortunately, tickets are currently not on sale for 2020, and without a ticket, currently she is unable to make a Park reservation. The plan is to resume 2020 ticket sales and hotel reservations later this summer, based on availability in the Disney Park Pass System. I'm sure this is disappointing news, but we are trying to give Annual Passholders and Guests with existing tickets the opportunity to make reservations first. The good news is that once the system is open, you can make reservations through September of 2021. Hopefully, your friend will experience the magic soon!

Vanessa, before I let you go, I'm going to let you in on a not-so-secret secret. The Resorts are my favorite "attraction" in all of the 'World, and you can make a fantastic vacation exclusively out of the Resorts and Disney Springs! I love all of the excitement and dining at Disney Springs, and the Resorts offer endless entertainment. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. You know where to find us!
