Hi... I am traveling to WDW for the 1st time ever Nov. 4- Nov. 9 2010. So excited! Traveling with my 10yr and 2yr old & husband... No clue for an itinerary. Do we have to get park hopper or just do one park per day and downtown Disney in between..Help

    Hi Natasha!

Yeay! I'm excited to help you plan your first Disney trip! I'm sure you're going to have so much fun!!

Personally, I don't feel that a Park Hopper option is a must. We've visited plenty of times without having it and have always had a great time! We plan to hit the Magic Kingdom and Epcot for full days and then split our days at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom with either pool time or shopping & dining at Downtown Disney!

In fact, my favorite itinerary starts off with a full day at the Magic Kingdom followed by a half-day at Hollywood Studios and the pool. Then, after we've had a slower paced day with time for rest and recreation in the pool, we'll tackle Epcot, followed by Animal Kingdom and the pool again.

I find that alternating the parks where we'll be doing the most walking with a slower day with pool time helps keep us refreshed!

And, don't forget, you won't need the park hopper option to return to the same park. Its perfectly ok to visit a park in the morning (for example, the Magic Kingdom), return to the hotel to swim and nap, and then return to that same park later that night.

Hope this helps! Be sure to let us know if we can help you plan some more!!
