We will be traveling to WDW in September and I am trying to plan our transportation around the parks for our trip! We will be staying at the Contemporary, and plan to utilize the monorails. How much time should I allow us to get to Epcot?? Thank you

    Hello Melissa,

Disney's Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Towers is one of my favorite resorts to stay, when visiting Walt Disney World. Not only is it conveniently located on the monorail but it is in quick walking distant to the Magic Kingdom park and has some amazing nighttime views of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. And I must mention my favorite restaurant California Grill tops this resort on the 15th floor with magical panoramic views of the Walt Disney World resort.

Access to the monorail is on the 5th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort. If traveling to Epcot, allow yourself about 35minutes of travel time. Once you board the monorail, you will head to the Transportation and Ticket Center, which is the first stop, and depart. From here make your way to the Epcot monorail and be on your way to explore Future World and World Showcase.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance, my Disney friend, feel free to ask and thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
