Hi, We're traveling to WDW on Sep.1-7, our first night there I have Rsrv. at Cape May for dinner, I understan BoardWalk is near by?? how far? Can we watch fireworks from there? What time are the FW usually? We're staying at POFQ how can I get to Cape May?

I love Cape May Cafe-it is a family favorite. There are lots of delicious food for guests who love seafood and those that don't. This is my family!

If you are not planning on touring EPCOT this day, then I would take the bus from Port Orleans French Quarter to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From here you could walk 15 minutes to the Yacht and Beach Club where Cape May Cafe is located or take the boat ride over. The Boardwalk is located across the other side of the lagoon from the Yacht and Beach Club. It is about a 1/2 mile walk or a boat ride away.

You may be able to see some of the fireworks if you walk over to the International Gateway of EPCOT. However, most of the magic of Illumination (9:00 pm nightly) happens on the lagoon within the park, and it is not visible from outside of EPCOT. If you are in EPCOT for the day, you can exit International Gateway and walk to the restaurant or take the boat.

To get back to Port Orleans, simply take the boat to Hollywood Studios (if you did not tour a park), and head back home on the bus. If you were in EPCOT before dinner, go back in, watch Illuminations and then head to the front of the park to go home.

    Have a great trip!
