Traveling to WDW in October for 1 week, we are so excited, with DH, DS, DD. DH has a 1 day meeting when we are there, just wondering what would be best to schedule for that day? It will just be me with 5yr old DS and 1yr old DD!

Well October is here so your trip is probably just days away!  I just returned and wish I was going back today!
Okay a day on your own with little ones.  If you are planning to hit a theme park that day, I highly recommend the MK.  There you will find the most attractions that the three of you can enjoy together and not worry about someone having to ride alone.  You all can enjoy Dumbo, Peter Pan's Flight, It's A Small World and many more.  This would also be a great day to take advantage of meeting characters, an activity that is easy to do on your own.
You might even want to spend half of the day at the park and then go back and enjoy your resort pool.  If the temperatures are anything like what they were last week, it will definitely be warm enough for the pool.
Thanks for the great question and for coming to the Mom's Panel.  I hope you and your entire family have a very magical WDW vacation.
