We are traveling to WDW next month (Oct 2022) and have a split stay between Hilton Buena Vista Palace and Port Orleans Riverside. Are luggage transfer options available between these hotels?

Hey Howdy Hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney.

It won't be long now until you are on your way to The World's Most Magical Celebration. October is such a great month at Walt Disney World Resort. Not only can you enjoy all the festivities surrounding the 50th anniversary, but fall has arrived at the theme parks. Hopefully you were able to grab a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. It is a spooktacular time! And, don't forget to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This culinary extravaganza provides your taste buds with an opportunity to enjoy culinary delights from six continents. Be sure to come hungry as you may just want to taste everything.

We recently stayed a few nights at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace. It was a great way for me to use Hilton points to extend our vacation and the location is fantastic. It is the perfect location if you want to stroll over to Disney Springs in the evening for shopping, dinner or just an evening snack. While Hilton Buena Vista Palace is a Disney Springs Resort and is included in the early theme park entry provided to Guests at Disney Resorts Collection hotels, it is not a Walt Disney World Resort and does not provide luggage transfers to any Disney Resorts, including Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

While I know that is not the answer you were looking for, the good news is the two resorts are relatively close to each other and can easily be reached by a short drive. When we stayed there, we simply grabbed a Lyft from the Hilton Buena Vista Palace to our Disney Resort. They were able to assist us with our luggage and once we arrived at our next resort, Disney Bell Services was able to help store our luggage until our resort room was ready. Overall the cost was minimal and it was easy and convenient. As a reminder, the Minnie Van, connected by Lyft, is running again and would be a fun option to transfer resorts and move your luggage. You can simply select this option through your Lyft app and choose your pickup location and destination. Even something as tedious as moving luggage can be fun in a van sprinkled with Minnie Mouse polka dots.

I hope this helps with your transfer process. If I can assist with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Margaret
