We are traveling to WDW in May for our first trip with 2 kids (ages 4 and 6). My 4 year old is not a great eater. I am trying to decide if one of the meal plans will be worth it. We are planning to do at least 2 char. dining. Any suggestions?

Sue I truly believe the dining plan is worth every penny, even with picky eaters.  I too have a picky eater who could live off of mac and cheese.  With that said, when you compare the cost of even one day on the dining plan to the cost of one character meal, you will see that you automatically save money.    Since you have a picky eater, check out the character dinings that are buffet style.  Your little one will be able to pick from a wide variety of selections.  One of my favorite buffet meals is at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom where you can dine with Pooh and his friends.  Also Chef Mickey is fantastic, which is located at the Contemporary.  Remember snacks are also included on the DP so when those little ones need a refreshing drink or an ice cold ice cream, just pull out your card and use your DP.  Have a magical time on your first WDW vacation.
