Hi! I will be traveling to WDW March 8th-15th for the first time with our 2.5 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son, so excited! Can you recommend any "must" see/or do shows, restaurants, etc. for us? Thanks so much!!!

Hi, Christine! Congratulations on your upcoming first visit to Walt Disney World! Since you'll be staying a full week, you may want to take a day off from the parks mid-week to relax at your resort and/or visit Downtown Disney during the daytime (when it is far less crowded). The not-to-be-missed stores in Downtown Disney for young kids are the World of Disney Store (the world's largest!), Goofy's Candy Company and the LEGO Imagination Center. Another fun thing to do is the Characters in Flight tethered hot-air balloon ride.

I don't know if you've made any Advance Dining Reservations (if not, try to make them ASAP), but here some popular Character Dining locations that are lots of fun for young children:

The Crystal Palace (Winnie the Pooh & friends) - Magic Kingdom
Tusker House Restaurant (Mickey & friends) - Animal Kingdom
Be Our Guest (inside the Beast's Castle) - Magic Kingdom, recommend lunch (no reservations necessary)
Hollywood & Vine (Disney Junior friends:   ) - Hollywood Studios
The Garden Grill (Chip 'n Dale & friends) - Epcot

Here are the top must-see shows and entertainment for little ones (in no particular order):

Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage (HS)
Disney Junior - Live on Stage! (HS)
Finding Nemo - The Musical (AK)
Festival of the Lion King (AK)
    Flights of Wonder (AK)
    Fantasmic! (HS)
    Jedi Training Academy (HS)
Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial (MK)
Afternoon & Evening Parades and Fireworks
    Character Meet-and-Greet locations

My space is limited here, so if you need further assistance, please send your questions my way and I'd be happy to help.

Wishing you a magical vacation, Christine!
