Hi Kevin,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family and I love visiting Magic Kingdom Park. We have two boys, ages 6 and 2, and our daughter turned 1 in December. We've taken all three of them as infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to Walt Disney World and they have enjoyed the parks at each stage of their lives.
Our family spends a lot of time in Fantasyland. With the recent addition of New Fantasyland, this area has so much to see and do. Storybook Circus has
Dumbo the Flying Elephant, which now offers two sets of flying elephants and a circus-themed play area in the queue that all of your children can enjoy. Another fun activity my boys like is taking the
Walt Disney World Railroad around the park. It is a great way to see the park and get around, with stops at Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland and Fantasyland.
My sons also have a good time in Adventureland, especially riding the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. If your boys are pirate fans, be sure to check out
Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial, where they will get a chance to join Captain Jack Sparrow's crew. For an afternoon treat, we usually get a Citrus Swirl from
Sunshine Tree Terrace. It's my preferred Magic Kingdom indulgence over the popular Dole Whip.
Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions as your Walt Disney World vacation approaches. Helping families plan visits to the Magic Kingdom is a favorite of mine.
Have a magical day,
Bob
