Traveling to WDW with family on the 20th of June. Do we need reservations for the restaurants in Downtown Disney like Planet Hollywood? Thanks...I love your panel!

    Hi Sara,

Thanks for the kind words. We are glad we can help. Downtown Disney is a large and fantastic complex filled with entertainment, shops and restaurants. The area is very popular to not only Disney guests, but local Floridians. There are a number of restaraunt options to choose from in the Downtown Disney area. You can find a list here. Until recently a number of the Downtown Disney restaurants did not take advance reservations however, they can now be made by calling 407-939-3463.

We have had minimal waits on a few occasions, especially right at the beginning of lunch. We have however, waited a good deal of time for a table when we did not make advance reservations. I always think it is a better idea to make the reservation if you know you will be dining there. The time you save waiting for a table will be much better spent in a park or doing some disney shopping.
